Famous people all over the country are delivering the commencement speeches, sharing their own experience in studying and in their way to success. There are lots of people we should be proud of and who influenced the history of the country. Let`s have a look on the list of the most famous college graduates.
Bill Gates is called one of the richest or maybe wealthiest man over the planet. But he`s also considered as the most successful Harvard dropout. Being a son of an attorney and a school teacher, he entered Harvard in 1973 and drop out 2 years later. He founded Microsoft with his friend Paul Allen. Gates got his diploma thirty years after he had left Harvard, in 2007. He was invited to deliver the commencement speech and sated that he`s a bad example to follow.
It`s likely that if Steve Jobs hadn`t dropped out of Reed College, we wouldn`t know what Mac, iPhone and iPad is. Steve left college after 6 months of studying but still his time there he spent with favor. During his commencement speech at Stanford University, he thanked his college for calligraphy class which created the basis for the typography which he used for his first Macintosh computer.
Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright is the most famous American architect. He spent more time on college designing rather than on its attending. Frank entered the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1886 but left it a year later. He spent time with famous artists who taught him all techniques and tricks. Wright is the author of more than 500 works.
Buckminster Fuller is a famous personality, he`s an architect, thinker, inventor. He dropped out from Harvard for 2 times. But this brought him only success. He`s a diverse person, his ideas on dymaxion (a portmanteau of dynamic maximum tension) house and dymaxion car impressed the whole nation and brought him fame and recognition.
James Cameron was born in Canada, but in 1971 his family moved to California. He entered the Fullerton College to study physics. But soon his academic life ended as he dropped out, married the waitress and became a truck driver. This all has changed when he saw Star Wars in 1977 and became the most famous and interesting creator of science-fiction movies.

Ford dropped out from Ripon College right before his graduation. But as we can see, the college diploma is not necessary to gain popularity. First, he played some minor roles in Hollywood and it didn`t fit him, so he worked in carpentry. After 10 years he starred in George Lucas’ comedy and then in 1977 he joined Star Wars.
The real name of Lady Gaga is Germanotta, she attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts but dropped out after a year of studying to develop her singing career. Her debut album, The Fame, was released in 2008 and made her famous as Gaga till today.
